SUNSET CLUB

This is the latest west 9th street HOT SPOT. Brought to you be the owners of Brasa Grille and Mallorca Restaurant. This spot is located adjacent to Mallorca. Again Sammy DeLeon was the headliner for the soft grand opening on Dec. 17th. Wall-to-wall people. You can tell from the limo's and Hummers that this spot will be a hit! The age range of the customers was from 21 to 60, and they mixed well on the fine wooden dancefloor. If you have been looking for a spot not overwhelmed with kids, this is it. This club comes complete with a large deco fish tank and grand piano. Several Cleveland Cavaliers were in attendence, and I understand they will be regular visitors when in town.

Hot salsa is the preferred mix brought to you by Tropical Rhythms. The new Wharfedale Pro speaker system will pump your heart on the dancefloor. Powerfull thump in a compact design. Add this to your list of must see locations. If you don't have any fun at this spot, try joining a sewing group.

CLUB MANGO'S

Akron's newest hotspot is Club Mango's. It is located in the heart of Akron across from the baseball park. The island deco is a big hit with the local college crowd. If you like busy clubs, this is the spot to be. Check out the rope swings at the bar, or shoot some pool between dancing. The heavy duty Yorkville 1KW sub woofers will add all the thump your rump will need to get you going. An attached Panini's is scheduled to open below this venue the 1st quarter 2005.

THE GARAGE

Jeff Allison is at it again. After several years of success with Spy Bar, Mercury, and Touch Supper Club, he is creating yet another nitch club, THE GARAGE. This is a retro throwback club with old filling station deco. The beer taps resemble old gas station pumps. Jeff tells me these new "high octane fuel" dispensers will be very affordable for your wallet.

The custom flown BEHRINGER sound system will spice up this 130 year old structure. THE GARAGE features bands and DJ music on most nights. Be sure to check out the LARGE patio complete with bar-b-que grille. Located just 1 block north of the West Side Market. Look for the gala grand opening late August.

The private preview party of the new 18,000 square foot CLUB KIKI in Lorain was a hit. This larger than life club has all the makings of a great dance and concert venue location. The live stage can accomodate any size group. While primarily featuring very uptempo hot salsa and merengue music, the hard driving YORKVILLE ELITE subwoofers deliver chest pounding dance beats. You can't sit still in this club, and your eyes are alway busy watching the exciting dancefloor and abundant "eye candy" at this spot.

Watch for the gala late August grand opening splash. Rumors have it that Sammy DeLeon will be headlining a concert at CLUB KIKI soon. Check it out!
